On May 18th 1980, Mt. St. Helens violently exploded and blew it's top. Over 50 people lost their lives that day. Rob Robertson took a fifteen hour, "Hell Drive" through the darkness and falling ash that day. This is his story.

March 10th marks the 65th Anniversary of the loss of Celilo Falls, on the Columbia River. The longest inhabited community on the North American continent. Carbon dated to over 10,000 years, it was a trading center for many tribes. To the Natives of the area, it is a cultural icon. It's flooding was a great loss to their people. Aurolyn Stwyer and Sean Cruz of The Friends of Celilo Falls are working to protect and return the falls to their former glory.

Paul Stanford is likely the most influential cannabis activist you've never heard of. He helped Jack Herer research and write the first edition of, The Emperor Wears No Clothes in 1985. He helped draft Oregon Ballot Measure 80, which eventually lead to Oregon legalizing Cannabis. He has won awards for his medical cannabis and has given away over 200 kilos a year to sick and dying patients. That's why I call him, Mr. Cannabis.
